Group Info

There are many, many, many groups for the Axis (specifically, the Nazis) in World War Two. Here is a group for the Allies (eg. Britain, the USA and the USSR).

Sorry I have to go into admin mode here, but I'd just like to remind everyone that this group is for the Allies in WWII. Please try to keep all submissions on topic.

Thanks. :)

Rules, Glorious Rules!

:bulletred: All art MUST focus on the Allies OR feature the Allies in some way. It's what the group is about, after all.

:bulletwhite: Submit to the correct folders. We can't stress this enough.

:bulletblue: Regarding Hetalia fanart...

- It MUST be related to the Allies in some way AND/OR have historical context to WWII.

- Shipping (I.e. artwork featuring Hetalia pairings (eg. England/America)) fanart IS NOT ALLOWED in this group. Such fanart will be removed.

- Please submit the Hetalia fanart to the Hetalia folder. Not everyone in this group likes Hetalia, and we originally created the Hetalia folder to stop people spamming the other folders.

:bulletred: Regarding photographs...

- Re-enactment and personal photos/photoshops ARE ALLOWED.

- However, photos taken in the WWII era (which do not happen to be personal photos or re-enactments), ARE NOT ALLOWED. While of course we have accepted them in the past, we have agreed that we cannot accept them anymore since it's potentially copyright infringement, and can get yourself AND this group in hot water.

:bulletwhite: Every member MUST act civil. This one's pretty much common sense.

:bulletblue: Have fun! :D

To the group founder, co founder and admins, I would like to make a suggestion.

We have many groups dedicated to all sorts of things, however, time and time again, I have found myself unable to find any groups based on the 1940s-70s Cold War era, which is something I am interested in. (I know the 80s and 90s were involved, but they were little to nothing in my opinion compared to the previous decades.)

The group would work in a similar way to this one, but of course be able to focus on a lot more, gallery folders would be organised similarly, and the only groundbreaking differences would be focus on the Codl War era, and the inclusion of Roleplay requests and encouragement and including of OC characters.

I have yet to find this, so I have both a question and request, first, does anyone think it is a good idea? Second, who would support it and assist me in making such a group, not only in its creation, but a rapid growth that sees a group size and recognition equal to the likes of this or other groups.

What about Australia?

I'm extremely sorry for the late reply (I don't receive group comments in my normal notifications, so I didn't see this for ages), but art related to Australia would go under the 'Commonwealth' folder.

Anyone on this group who knows Chiang Kai-shek/Jiang Jie-shi and the Republic of China/Nationalist China?
